| 14-year-old Brock is the voice of reason among Ash
and his friends. He's mature and sensible, except when he's
around pretty girls, when he goes ga-ga and has to be pulled
away (either by Misty or Max). Brock's father, Flint, walked out
on his family and he had to raise ten younger brothers and
sisters as well as pick up the slack by becoming the Pewter City
Gym Leader. He specialises in Rock-type Pokémon but his real
love is Pokémon breeding. Flint returns to the Gym after Ash's
battle and Brock jumps at the chance to travel with Ash and
Misty.
During their time in the Orange Islands, Brock stayed with a Pokémon Professor, Professor Ivy, helping her take care of Pokémon. At the start of the Hoenn episodes (AG), Brock left to take care of some things back home, but returned just in time to save Ash and his new friends from a flock of Taillow XD. Brock's interests include cooking - he's an excellent cook for both humans and Pokémon, and he somehow manages to carry a big cauldron in his pack XD. He's also pretty good at cleaning and singing ^^. As mentioned before, he falls in love whenever he sees a pretty girl XD. He can tell the difference between the different Officer Jennys and Nurse Joys from things like fractional differences in their eyelash lengths o_O. Brock's starting Pokémon was Onix. His other Pokémon include or have included Vulpix (returned to Suzy, who gave it to him); Pineco (evolved to Forretress); Mudkip; Zubat (evolved all the way to Crobat); and Geodude. |
