The Pokémon Peninsula > TPP Chat

The TPP chat is an IRC channel and it's shared with the other RyuX Network sites.

For those of you who already know how to use IRC:

• Server: irc.rizon.net
• Port: 6667
• Channel: #ryux

If you don't have an IRC program, head to http://www.rizon.net/webchat.php and join the channel #ryux. This one is self-explanatory and you won't need any special instructions.

If you don't know how to use IRC, here's how (instructions for an IRC client):

• Fire up your IRC client (on Windows, www.mirc.com has a good one)
• Type the following commands after you choose your nickname:
•     /server irc.rizon.net
•     /join #ryux
• That's it! Easy, isn't it?

Here's some useful stuff to know on IRC:

• /nickserv register password registers your nickname so no one else can use it.
• /me action => *username action
• /nick newname changes your nickname to newname.
• /msg username gives you a private chat with username.
• /query username also gives you a private chat with username.
• /msg command help gives you help on the command you type in.

And the user levels:

• @username means username is an "op", basically they're chat admins and have kicking power. Ops at #RyuX are Jedi_Amara (aka JA, KOUICHI_IS_MINE, KOUICHI_IS_STILL_MINE, TheAvengingRemoraOfDoom, JAtheGoodCharlotteFreak, MissPenguin, GreatKawaiiPenguin, J-Ray, KamikazeKame, KujianKame) and Greg (Quaggy, QuagBot, JKaizer or JKai o_O)
• %username means username is a half-op, they have some op powers but not all. Kinda like a global mod, I guess XD. And you probably won't see many of these on #ryux.
• +username means username is "voiced", basically this doesn't do much but a voiced user can go through any folders people have made public on IRC and download files.
